Frank Armitt & Son Ltd offer a full logistics service for Customers Importing products into the UK via any port, including customs clearance and delivery of the containers to Garston. 

Upon arrival at Garston Docks we can devan any type of container carrying products ranging from, Steel Coils (shipped either `Eye to the Sky’ on pallets or conventionally on cradles) Steel Pipes, Steel Bars, Palletised Products or any other commodities, before onward delivery of the product to its final destination.

In addition to this service we can now assist in arranging shipments from the country of Origin, thereby giving customers the whole consolidated package from booking the containers with the lines, to through delivery of the goods.
 

Coil Turning

To supplement the devanning of steel coils shipped `Eye to the Sky’ we have our own `Coil Turner’ or `Upender‘. This equipment can turn coils up to 12 tonnes in weight through 90 degrees, so that they can be delivered in a conventional coil welled trailer, should the customer require.
